If you buy one they are crap.

Otherwise they aren't bad.

I was given one for Xmas and it has been a bit of a flop. Firstly the control buttons are incredibly hard to push and the tiny display is hard to read and understand. Secondly the mounting systems supplied aren't really rigid enough so when it's on your helmet it flops around, which ruins the picture. TBH I'm not very impressed with the picture quality either, even on its best quality setting; it's grainy and jerky.

That said, it it robust, well made and well sealed.

Keep looking around.

I have one and agree about the buttons, very fiddly. Also the sound on mine is shite big time. You can't hear me talk on it, it just seems to pick up wind. As for the mounting - it is fine on my helmet, it's just very heavy. On the bars it isn't too bad depending on the road surface. Don't put it on a space saver as that is really terrible for picking up vibrations.

It is robust and waterproof though. Batteries last a couple of hours. I put rechargable ones in.

All in all I wouldn't pay the RRP. I got mine off ebay with a free 2GB card and batteries for £64.99 (free P&P). It's a good toy at the end of the day, I'd give it 60/100
