Could you give me an idea on what this bike is worth please or maybe even make an offer.
My work colleague is selling his father-in-laws Orbit tandem.
He bought it new and believes it was purchased 16-18 years ago from Orbit Tandems in Gargrave North Yorkshire.
It has been sat in the back of his garage unused and unloved for approximately 10 years.
Size - Captain 18 1/2” (47cm)/Stoker 15 1/2” (39cm).
Aluminium frame with steel fork.
26” wheels
8 speed Triple.
Shimano V Brakes with additional cable disk on rear.
Comes complete with an Atera roof bar/lift although we don’t know how this works?
We seem unable to pull the mechanism down to help lift the bike so it could be faulty.
Condition - not great!
As you can see the aluminium frame has crazed/oxidised.
There is some rust on components & the bike needs a good fettle/clean & maybe a service.
The brakes and gears seem to work fine.
It looks better in the photographs than it actually is!
