I need a couple of spare tunes for the Marin.

Tyres are 27.5 X 3.0.

Decathlon list some tubes on their site as 27.5 X 2.50/3.00, but in store the packaging just states the width as 1.90 - 2.50.

So would you use these for 3.0 tyres or not.

They're only £3 for a pair, so the quality may be a bigger factor, but any opinions welcomed.

I struggled to find 27.5x3.0 tubes but eventually found some online. I'm not sure I would trust an over stretched tube but it would probably be ok in the short term. I have since negated the problem by going tubeless, might be worth considering if your wheels and tires are tubeless ready

I found some when I bought the bike, just can't remember where

As for tubeless, the wheels are tubeless ready but the tyres aren't. I may consider tubeless when I need tyres, but until then for the amount of riding I do I just can't justify it.

I feel the same about the Btwin tubes, I'm not absolutely desperate for them so I'll probably leave it and find the proper size again :okay:

Carbon fibre... LMAO!!!
There's a good argument for running smaller tubes than the manufacturers recommendation in that a slightly smaller tube is less likely to get trapped between tyre and rim. A rubber tube will stretch easily plenty enough to fill bigger tyres.

I used to use junior racer 24" tubes (ETRTO 540) in MTB fat tyres (ETRTO 559), and never had any more punctures than my riding partner. They were cheaper than "ultralight" MTB tubes.
