I've got a few bicycles in need of some new tyres.

I've bought a couple of fixer-uppers to save from being scrap metal and also my dad + partner have decided to start cycling, their bikes have been untouched in a shed for ~10 years, probably on original rubber (15-20 years old).

Anyway back to my point, can anyone recommend websites for buying tyres?
Ideally I would like to be able to select my tyre size, then see all the tyres in stock for that particular size.

Kinda like www.blackcircles.com but for bicycle tyres not cars/motorbikes. Does such a shop exist?

Or am I doomed to keep browsing Chain Reaction Cycles/Wiggle's tyres to see which ones are in the correct sizes.

I decide on what make tyre I want first and then Google to find the best price. Most of the big players tend to have flash sales these days so what may be expensive one day may be a lot cheaper the next

Snap
I bought a pair at the weekend from Ribble, and they turned up today.

Yep, mine arrived today too and left to bake in the porch by Il Postino.

I was going to wrap them around my Mavics tonight, but a long day and a bottle of Montepulciano said no...

Perhaps we should have a poll:
Choice 1: Fit new tyres then - have a glass or two.
Choice 2: Have a glass or two then think - I'll do it tomorrow.
Choice 3: Have a couple then - get the 'king wheel off, pinch your fingers, pinch and puncture inner tube, curse a lot then either - have a glass or two more or decide to do it tomorrow.

I've just bought a pair of the above - fantastic tyres although I paid alot more than the Ribble price for them, and just a few days before the Ribble sale as well.:cursing: Typical aint it.

Oh sorry fella, never mind. Ribble IMO beat the liviing bollockles out of any other competition but tend to be, unsurprisingly, out of stock more frequently.
