Need some new prescription distance vision and reading sunglasses (no, I don't want bi/varifocals ). Fancy a pair of RayBan Wayfarers which are sold by multiple online outlets (rather cheaper than the high street).
Any recommendations for any online sellers that you have used for Rx glasses? Selectspecs are coming up as the most cost effective for the specific model fwiw. Not in a particular hurry to receive

Misterspex. Haven't used them for about a year but they're service is good and prices are reasonable.

About a year ago I tried to get some replacement reading glasses from a quality high street optician chain. Got updated prescription from them, they did a load of additional measurements with my chosen frame (how far apart iris is, etc.). And when I got them terrible distortions. So they made measurements again, new lenses and better but unacceptable distortions.

And that was with face to face measurements specific to the frames.

But one eye does have an astigmatism and they were reading glasses (my distance is fine).

So I'm no optician but the risks with mail-order must be a lot higher than face to face measurements.

true but they all offer replacements.
i have prisms in my lenses, clearly marked on prescription but I also want to add in a comments box.
i can get 30% off at Vision Express but I need to check cost and availability (at mo I think around £70 more even so!) The reading glasses can be super cheap, just for reading by pool/on beach on holiday!

spex4less seem to get excellent TrustPilot reviews, and they were good when I used them. Not sure how the price compares, or if they have the exact model you need.

I’ve used in the past, the price came out as hundreds more! Maybe a website issue, will look again!
They have the right frame but not in the right size/colour, price actually not too bad as come with the official RB lenses

I've just found that I can get 30% off at Vision Express. I had been thinking about buying online but was wondering about adjustments when the glasses arrive. Whenever I have bought glasses in an option they have always had to tweak the arms to either stop the slipping down my nose or to stop them being too tight.
I'd be more comfortable getting measured properly in an opticians before the glasses are ordered and then having an experienced technician to adjust the fit when I pick them up.
