Ride title: Parks of West London with view of St Pauls
Train to Richmond, then via Richmond Park , area of 2,500 acres with
uninterrupted view of St Paul's Cathedral, following Tamsin Trail and
on to the reproduction CTC sign descend "steep" hill to seek the
Charles I. 'Whipping boy' at Ham House. We keep our feet dry by ferry
across the Thames and along to eel pie island. Onward and upward over
Teddington Bridge and later to go over clatter bridge surrey oldest
bridge still in use. We the talk a lot of cobblers in Bushy Park.
Following the meandering bends of the River Crane, with its hotbed of
wildlife, a thriving colony of Marsh Frogs and the very rare Water
Vole. We then visit Old Isleworth before traverse Syon Park passing
the tropical forest, trying not being the lunch of the crocodiles,
Our next port of called be Osterley Park with its magnificent
neo-classical house, with opportunities to buy home-grown produce in
an 18th-century pleasure grounds setting. Then next stop is the
Hounslow East Underground to return to the big smoke.
