One Garmin, two HRM straps

Is it possible for 2 people to share a Garmin (obviously not both using it at the same time) and each have their own HRM strap?

My OH and I both want a Garmin Edge, and since we cycle at different times, it would make sense to share one, but we don't want to share the same sweaty HRM strap!

As said yes, you just have to resync the garmin each time wit the new HRM strap, the newer ones may do this automatically.

you could probably use the second bike option, but instead of a second bike you'd have a second person
