No infamous clip here, just a quick question:
If I was to get a second set of wheels and got a second cassette to put on them for easy changing, I know its going to mean the cassettes will wear over a longer period through less individual usage over time.
I'm assuming its advisable to swap the chain when swapping over wheels, but is it a definite no-no not to? ie do chains wear to cassettes (like keys and locks) and therefore there will be a noticeable impact on the chain or the different cassettes. I'm more than happy to change chains more frequently etc. but if its going to start impacting more then I might think about it a bit more...
I haven't really thought so much about how often I'll change but probably depending on the climbing I'm doing on a ride. Yes its incremental/psychological but...well, that's not the topic I'm asking about.
