I have had a Versa Pro (which seems to have disappeared from On-One's site) since October. I purchased it with a view to use it for touring and fair weather commuting, and as such I won't really start using it for another month or two. So far it's only done 100km, which isn't really enough time to form any concrete opinions on it. I notice that the Versa that's on the On-One site currently has a 39x18, which would be much, much better than the 48x18 that my Versa Pro has.

There is a fairly long and quite useful thread here that may give you some more informed opinions on the bike.

On a whim I headed to the Sussex Enterprises (the people who make the Versa shifter) website, and noticed that they're now listing a Versa VRS-11 shifter. I assume (and hope) this means that it's only a matter of time before we see an 11 speed Pompetamine Versa.

It sounds like a few people have managed to get their hands on the levers. I'm trying to now, as I have a Pompetamine 11 order waiting to be released. Hopefully On-One will let me re-spec it with dropped bars and mechanical disc brakes. If not, it will have to be a project for later...

I have the Versa 11 levers. They got to me in a week from the US, which was impressive. I'm hoping to get the bike tomorrow. On-One have been great and allowed me to change the 'urban 11' build into a 'Versa' style build with dropped bars and mechnaical discs instead of the flat bar gubbins. Oh, I've also swapped the chainset to a 39 tooth'd one to get more sensible gearing (20 sprocket).
I should have my 11 speed Pompetamine Versa (Pro, effectively) on the road next week! I'll let you know my initial impressions...

I have the bike built up now but I've been suffering with some kind of bug so haven't been able to ride it yet. But I do at least have an 11 speed versa dropped bar Pompetamine. There cannot be too many others around yet! I don't think I'll get a chance to ride it for a few days yet but I'll keep this topic updated when I do.

It's on the road now. A couple of poor pics here:-

In summary, a heavy but smooth rolling, comfortable bike that feels very solid. Can ride it anywhere. I've changed the tyres for Conty Touring (now rebranded as Top Contact but look identical to me), which are excellent and have helped the feel a lot. The gearing is great. The steps between the gears is just fine, even on the road. Perfect commute bike and tourer.
