On Ahead stems is there anything one can buy to extend (raise) them apart from a raked stem?

If possible I just want to extend the part that the stem fits on to as I think it would look better than a heavily raked stem or an adjustable stem.

You may be able to raise the handlebars a little with just extra spacers - depending on how long the steerer is - but probably only a few cm at most. You may find that an angled stem riser works well as they come at different angles and lengths so it is possible to achieve a rise in height without the bars being further much further forward or nearer.
A stem riser as advised by HovR above will keep everything exactly as it is, but higher and you can adjust the exact height anywhere along the length of the top part of the riser. I have one of these on my Dalesman and it works for me - but it is not a thing of beauty. You can get a plain metal one or black one depending on what your stem is)

I don't think you will find a stem riser looks better than an angled riser though.....

Pic of Angled riser on my Triban it's a 35 degree one and comes in various lengths.

Thanks folks. I can't imagine how I missed them when I was looking. I think I just saw the Quill to Ahead adapter and thought that was all there was. It may not be too pretty but my back will not mind that and my wallet won't mind me not shelling out on new forks for the sake of a couple of inches. Who knows I might just go for the adjustable stem instead. Oh I wish I was more decisive. Or do I?
