The NL womens' cycling team (road, I believe) got announced this week so I investigated who was on the British team and, following this link, I can't find anything apart from track for either gender. Does that mean we're not fielding an Olympic road team? Or does it get announced later?

Doubt they actually take place; covid is a big problem there and a number of teams have had invites withdrawn by host cities.

The British team have been spotted training whilst riding bikes adorned with full sets of bike packing gear. The extra weight and aerodynamic inefficiency increases their stamina.
Plus it gives them some gear to use when the locals out in Japan won't let them in to their host city. They can all bivi under tarps by the side of the road.....

The team has been announced!

Road - Lizzy Deignan/Anna Shackley for the ladies. Anna will also do the TT.

Tao/Geraint/2 x Yates for the men. Tao/Geraint for the TT as well.

MTB - Tom Pidcock and Evie Richards.

They've also announced BMX and Track.
