And which of those points that affect older cyclist do younger cyclists enjoy I wonder
Bad road surfaces ? Crappy signage ? Confusing cycle lanes ?

I would hope researchers into cycling issues would be looking to take a wider view of the subject than could be obtained from discussions with club cyclists, in or out of a pub .

About the recommendations at the end, not all slow cyclists are out for leisure.
Some of us older, slower riders still need to go to work, pension age is now 66 and rising.
