Hi all, had my old tatty psylo forks re sprayed by bike spray shop, no powder coating or extreme heat curing just cold spray and air cure, so internal lower leg bushings in great condition and very snug and silky smooth running, gold stantions not a single mark look new in fact.
]I just re-assembled them with new seals and o-rings but sram service guide said 140cc of 5 wt oil in damper side and 30cc in bottom of spring side, the spring side took 30ml no problem but damper side I only had x2 120ml bottles so poured in the 120ml but as I put in top damper spring assembly it pushed a lot out which I caught in clothe.

It seemed like 140ml is way too much and probably only needed 80ml but anyway it's full working a treat, just surprised the service guide gave 140ml ?

I checked Google and cc is identical amount in ml so a bit confused but they are working great and remote lockout also fine so no real issues.
I was wondering as psylo race which I have with 80-125mm travel adjust u-turn and believe they came out 2003/2004 but other models were maybe 2002 which may of held larger volume of oil.
Anyone knows exactly the volume as I believe my set is 2004 I remember before sticker was removed.
I put a piece of carbon fibre wrap around each lower leg gor paint protection for now, it's peels off with ease after a mild warming of hairdryer.

I don't race, jump, downhill or anything violent just on road and mild gravel trails tracks, woods and country wandering so they will do fine.
