Yes, he was arrested and tried, but was found not guilty.

This left an un-solved murder and lots of questions in it's wake.

And that's where we are now. No nearer to knowing who did it, but the person originally suspected and arrested for the murder now in prison.

No, I didn't miss it. I don't believe anyone can think he isn't guilty therefore your "if" can only be regarded as rhetorical.

american justice - rubbish. remember louise woodward? sent down (and eventually released) for manslaughter. her crime? being a naive 17 year old left in charge of a baby and a two year old with behavioural issues. although some questions were asked of what the wealthy white professional parents were doing hiring a young girl from abroad to look after their kids while they worked, america preferred to punish the foreigner than address the real issue. if that happened over here, the parents would be investigated for neglect.

Ohh, he did it, he did it! I've seen him being asked questions about it on TV and the guilt was written all over his face.
