Well you see it goes like this, I had a ride on hubbys Dolan Mythos today ( proper road bike) and i really liked it.So my problem is how am i going to tell him, he has only just bought the Boardman for me and it wasn't cheap, well it was in the run of things, but still the wrong side of £700 like. He said he likes the Boardman and if I ever moved on he could use it for touring, probably not after 6 weeks mind !

I fancy a Carbon Synapse or a Scott foil, of course I would really like his Litespeed !!!!!!!!! but then there is Time trials and I like the look of those Cervelos too.

Bloody Hell I might even have to go out and get a job !!!

What will i tell the kids, [ Hmm sod you 2 mummy wants to go racing ]

Im going to have to use some female cunning here, or maybe just get him pissed he'll say yes to anything then.
A couple of bottles of 'Gevry' should do the job.

A quick search here shows you got the boardman as a surprise. Well, the downside to that is the choice is not always correct.

Stick with the hybrid for the early summer, then look at road bikes as the prices drop in ... July, I think.

(And you do have to get a road bike: when I lose a QOM in strava, I read the email subject to my partner. The women often have strange names, and my partner has decided that they are all called "Flossy Shadowfax". So with your username, you are a natural. Just stay away from my QOMs - most of which I have because only 3 women have ever done the segment. Or quite often because I am the only woman to have done it )

*goes off to switch gender in Strava settings*

Sure some QOM's are better than no KOM's, might even consider the surgery

At least my other half has had her bike nearly a year, she ordered her new one last week. but she is paying for it, and as for Strava she was never competitive, but since she has been using Strava she is worse than me.^_^

Now you are just being silly Pat. There must be an easier way than such torture, I could cope with the miles and the panniers but riding with him one day a week is quite enough thanx.

How come you fit your hubby's bike anyway? That's unusual ... and extremely lucky for you, just borrow his when he's at work
