O'brien international, looking for info

Hi, I have a beloved o'brien international that I found at the back of an antiques dealer. I have restored it and cleaned it up but do not really know anything about it. If anyone has information about where they were made and when and possible value that would be great. Many thanks

These bikes were sold through catalogues such as Littlewoods and Kays etc. Very basic materials were used in their manufacture. In fact they were the equivalent of today's Apollo bikes, i.e. made down to a price. They are not to be confused with Rory O'Brien frames, which were top notch.

Nice bike! I've got an O'Briren too, an older one, and am also looking for information. Have you found out anything yet?

I think these were assembled in Coventry where I'm from. I had one but that was bought from a local shop. Early 80's .
