If low on sugar - milk and a shake mix - banana etc..... what do you like.

No it's good stuff. Oh and lob a banana down the cake hole too. All needs to be done as soon as possible within the 30-45 min window after a ride - that's the best time for the body to absorb and recover.

Oh and stay away from folk with the sniffles for about an hour after a big ride - easily done by going for a shower and cleaning the bike.

Get a blender

1 scoop whey protein
1 scoop 25G scots porridge oats - cheap stuff is fine not the fancy crap with additives
1 banana
300ml red milk

best shake ever, i also have one for breakfast, but never after 8pm

Good recovery shake that, but I make it about 500kCal - hope that IS you breakfast as opposed to being something you have in addition to cereal or toast

For anyone trying to lose weight though, I'd reserve the recovery shakes for after hard multi-hour rides or very hard interval sessions.

that is my breakfast, its a lot of cals prob about 600 with the pumpkin seeds and ground almonds i chuck it, but its a great start to the day 2 hours later i have small amounts of fruit and than lunch few hours later... the shake provides everything you need and has help me aid weight loss massively. remember these ARE good cals

i know a lot of guys hate porridge the usual way, this works
