Northwich to Ogmore-by-Sea tour

I'm off on a solo tour next Tuesday and was wondering if someone could look over my route (particularly Day 4 around Newport) and see if I have done anything daft... My touring bike is an off-road tourer/expedition bike (@User14044 she's been dusted off ) so I am not worried about canal paths (which I have included, along with all of the Taff trail). I am deliberately avoided Cardiff. I suspect I am going to be charged quite a bit for camping. I have already come up against the "we have a minimum of 2 nights for tents" policy at the only site I have booked (which luckily I needed 2 nights for!)...

Anyone any thoughts please

just committed the biggest sin ever... and removed the front pannier racks! not to mention eying up a new front light that I can't really affrod... http://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/...adlight-63073?currency=3&delivery_country=190 still will just have to take the powergorilla with me for this tour. Another one planned for September (2 weeks and with OH on that one!)

hoping to travel light (yeh right, I know...) still need to check that the new saddle and I are going to get on with each other

thank you. that was the day that gave me the most headaches with planning. Somehow I kept ending up in Cardiff dockyard each and everytime I tried to go through Cardiff and I don't do cities very well!

But it does come at a very good price

which price is that? +1kg saved from the weight of the bike or the £90 for the light? Suspect the latter.... and I suspect we will have one before too long at least for my OH's bike so he can charge things in September.

It's years since I lived in that neck of the woods (south Wales) and I didn't cycle then so won't comment except to say that my dogs used to love it when I took them to the beach at Ogmore.
