I bought a pair of these over Christmas, as I've really suffered with cold feet while commuting. I've worn them twice so far - on Wednesday's commute (20miles each way) and a quick 25mile spin this morning.

I'm still suffering with cold toes!!! And it's not even close to freezing temperatures. I must admit they are "less cold" than they would have been with regular shoes & overshoes, but didn't expect to still suffer. The rest of my feet are OK, it's just my toes.

For those that have these - what socks do you wear/recommend with them? I've used these so far - should I get something else. Or will I forever have cold feeet!!

Thanks!

I'm back! Yippeee
the trick to keeping warm feet is not to have shoes that are too tight.winter socks ect only work if there is room for then to hold the air, squeeze then into a tight shoe and the benefit is lost.

True enough although as i have said in other threads i do have poor circulation to start with so even with loose winter boots i needed overshoes when its freezing.I hope the OP is not like me as well .

Thanks all - makes me wonder whether I should have gone for a half a size larger boots. They're not overly tight - maybe as they wear in things may improve.

Colder temperatures this coming week - that should give them a proper test!! :cold:

Still part of the team !
There's a version of these boots called "Artic". They are the ones for cold weather although I see that Northwave have recently brought out a pair called "Extreme Winter" which have even more insulation.
I've got a pair of the Artic boots and they are the best cycling purchase that I've made in the past 12 months.
I have used them with neoprene overshoes on really cold days.
