Aside from Monsignor Vaz and our learned fellows at Colourtech (Deptford, good grief) is there anyone for frame builds/resprays on the correct side of the Thames? I have a 1974 Carlton frame I'd like to build but I'm a know-nothing and need hand-holding.
Also, is it safe to cold spread the rear frame to take a 9 sp hub, or should I use this for a fixie? Its got long horizontal Campy drop outs. I've got a Condor Italia with a bust head tube (2 yrs old, thanks guys), so need to swap the Campy gear to something else. Its my commuter and I fancy a solid Mr Reynolds frame.
