Hi chaps,
I've ridden a Diamondback Outlook FS for the past five years or so
and I'd like something with larger wheels and no suspension now
as I no longer ride off road (ie. up the hills). There is an issue for me
though, I believe the full suspension helps my badly broken wrist
which never healed well and I'm afraid riding with no front suspension
will be painful on long rides - especially along bumpy and rough tow
paths and the like. I only cycle on the road when there's no choice,
I prefer cycle paths and quiet roads. So I'm looking for a hybrid and
have found the following in my price range (£300 to £400).
VooDoo Marasa Hybrid Bike 2011 - 20" - £350
http://www.halfords....yId_165534#dtab
or a Norco Indie 3 from a local bike shop (not this site) - £299
http://www.winstanle...die_3_Bike_2010
I'm not a 'techie' and have no idea which has the better components,
geometry etc. - though I am aware of the mechanical brakes vs hydraulic
and I would certainly prefer the hydraulic - for those alone I'm willing
to pay the extra £50 but only if all else is equal.
Or perhaps somebody could suggest an alternative bike.
Thanks for reading this and for all sensible replies!
