Noisy latex inner tubes

I'm wanting to use the Vittoria latex tubes but when I used them before, a rattling noise was made from the valve vibrating against the wheel's valve hole! I tried to suppress this noise by putting some electrical tape at the base of the valve with mixed results.

Has anyone else experienced this noise issue and if so, did you manage to suppress the noise - if so, how?

I’ve pre used a small circle cut from a standard butyl inner tube which I placed round the valve but inside the rim.

Round the valve stem at its base (5p piece sized, pierced). Also minimises the risk of damage from any rough edge the valve hole might have.

Noisy latex isn't the problem. The problem is the noisy people who use it, especially late at night...

That can be fixed with a small circle cut from a standard butyl inner tube inside the rim. Apparently ...

Down here the Chinese inner tubes we get with the dreadful Woods valve have a metal dished washer to do the job.

Thanks for the feedback guys - will give your ideas a go. Note, never get any noise using the regular butyl inner-tubes - just the latex tubes and their valves - it's the valves that cause the rattling. Thanks again.
