noisy cycleops2 any idea why???

ive recently purchased a cycleops2 trainer second hand off the dreaded e bay!!! all looks well and it works have followed the instructions on setting up the bike and its noisy !!!! any ideas what this could be and how to rectify it cheers

I've heard that they are quite noisy in general. Some of the reviews I was looking at pointed that way. Someone hopefully will correct me, but that's what put me off buying one.

What type of noise are we talking about - from the resistance unit?

I cannot help with your query, but would recomend e-mailing Saris (makers of Cycleops) who were very helpful when I had a query recently and sorted things out for me.

yes from the unit think it might of leaked i purchased it off the dreaded e bay. i seen on internet they have lifetime guarantee not sure if this is transferable??? will try saris too cheers
