No pics!!

I've just done a ride report for the Discover Rutland thread and my pics from Photobucket have not appeared despite them uploading and showing ok as thumbnails which I requested in the draft. Help.

I've had similar problems which I think might be browser-related (I'm using Opera 11.52).

Hmm interesting, but they have worked fine in the past as you know. I'm quite disappointed having spent a fair bit of time one finger typing to get this out today, Awaiting Shaun's verdict

Just to confirm - when you added them did you use the Upload a File button, or the Image Icon in the editor?

Ah, that's what the problem is. The Upload button is for physical files located on your machine, not for web-based URLs. The picture icon should be used for Photobucket and other remotely hosted web galleries.

Send me a PM with the Photobucket links and I'll edit the post for you later and put it all right ...

I know the image at URL/picture icon method works.

Testing local image & upload method ...

That was 'Full Image' and I could see the uploaded image in the editor box.

Once more using 'Thumbnail' ...



I could see that in the editor window too.

Now clicking 'Reply to Thread' ...

You've probably already seen my reply in the other thread but you have to click on the 'More Options' button (bottom right)
