I believe Sagan stole 2nd on the line after playing silly games for 20K with the other contenders.

Yep saw it......a strong lone break. Real shame Gerrant Thomas got piped off the podium, but Sparticus most defiantly made a statement of intent today. Boonan looking better, but still a long way off top form. Sagan was also good, but tactically all the chasers let Cancellara go and didn't close him down quick smart, which turned out to be a fatal mistake.

I watched it and found myself wondering about a purely hypothetical question: if the Belgians ever got round to making proper roads and growing hedges, would it spoil the racing?
