Anyone got them? I fancy a set (the bank manager doesn't fancy the £270, but what does he know?!) however I can't seem to find anything good to say about them? Nor can I find anyone talking bad about them?

Does anyone own a pair? I'd like some feedback before I go upsetting the bank manager...

I own a set of the 400 dual, upgraded from the original 300 dual set. I can safely say they're very bright, very light and cool looking. The only downside is the battery life can be a bit short. This may be due to my battery going through 3 winters. It still lasts for about 2 hours on full beam. I'm trying to sell my 400s to fund buying the 700s.
They are really well made pieces of kit and would recommend them to anyone. Though, with the increase in technology, I expect either next year or the year after they'll have 1000 lumen ones or more.
Not sure what the law in the UK is about bike light brightness. I expect anything over 1000 lumen on the road is getting a bit risky.

Forogt to add - I've seen them in the US for $270, which works out at about £171. Even if you get hit with import tax and pay the postage, it'll still be cheaper than buying them here, maybe by about £30

I have the X2 Dual, which were cutting edge technology when I bought them three or four years ago.  At 300 lumen compared to 700 there's not going to be much comparison on beams, though for road riding I'm never going to want anything brighter.  What I can say is I'm very impressed with Nightrider quality and design, mine have been through three winters and still look like new, they've never faltered though the battery is now getting tired, I'll look into a replacement.
