Cycling on your average poorly-maintained UK road, I don't think lack of jarring would be a problem ... It might be hard to calibrate the device though!

It isn't calibrated

I gather from the promo that "Nike Fuel is calculated the same way for every one"

Apparently though it does count drinking beer as exercise!

but way cool for the times spent OFF the bike. the Edge 800 has me covered for when Im ON the bike.
