It would serve them right if some poor cyclist accidentally caught the kerb whilst squeezing through the gap and fell against the side of the car

Why is it fair enough to block a contraflow system for cyclists (thus forcing them into oncoming traffic to get round the idiot) whilst also illegally parking on double yellows? If they need to load/unload then they can simply park on the other side of the road... oh yeah, I see... they might have to walk a bit further and that's clearly not on!!
