Nice and smooth

Yep I had the smoothest ride in to work today thanks to Cheshire East Council finally getting their finger out and resurfacing the (formerly) worst patch of road on my commute. The road they have done is this one from the sharp left-hander that turns the road from west to south, all the way to the school entrance.

I previously had to go slow and take a meandering primary to dodge the broken up road surface, it was worse that the streetview photos suggest. God forbid if there was a car following behind! I can now cruise down smoothly without risking damage to my wheels

I must've spent loads of money replacing spokes and truing rims after riding down there.

Damn, that looked well overdue!

Really hoping Nottingham or Derby council get round to resurfacing this road at some point:

has been redone since that photo was taken. I've never ridden on anything that has felt quite so wonderful.

'Cor, they finally did Castle Boulevard~!

I can relate as they skimmed and completely re-did about a mile of road on my commute that did resemble moon surface and yet now I could play marbles on it.

How nice does it feel after suffering it for so long!
