Hi Flower.
This is the leaflet you need. I haven't heard of this cycleway before, I'm only in Tamworth. Shame they charge for ths sort of info though. Hope this link works.

Hi Flower.

I lived for 21 years in northwest Coventry and as a child I cycled some really nice lanes to the NW of the city. I plotted this route for someone in that area. The area within the main loop is where I'm talking about between Allesley, Meriden, Coleshill, Kingsbury, Tamworth, Polesworth, Atherstone, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Keresley. If you stay off the busy A-roads and B-roads as much as possible, you'll find lots of nice roads out there. A few little hills to surprise you too!

Coventry is great for cycling, because its so compact your only 20mins from a good ride i reckon. I quite frequently pop over to kenilworth, leamington, stratford etc. There's also good rides out warwickshire way- the other week i went over to draycote via brandon, wolston and thureston. If you're about give me a shout- you're welcome to join.

There could be some interesting rides on Cycle Routes. I've put a couple on for Leicestershire and got some inspiration for other rides.

I know there is a cycle club do a ride every sunday morning, about 9am from Starley House (Jubilee church's building) by the station.

they often ride to hatton locks

I do most of my longer rides to the south of coventry out towards stoneleigh, warwick, bagington and bubbenhall.

Their website is here

There's also the Coventry Road Club

They are a racing club so might be a bit quick for someone new to cycling, they do run a slower family group most Sundays, just have to be careful of which group you leave with.
