I've signed up to do the 180 miles (admittedly, over 3 days!) between Geordieland and Scouseland for CHUF (childrens heart unit foundation).
Day 1 and 3 I'm not worried about, its the second day over the pennines I think might be interesting, Any advice from anyone that's taken a similar route and never really climbed before would be great! I Can comfortably do 60-80 miles in a day but thats on pretty flat roads... In the sun... With a tailwind... etc.
I'll be riding my Focus Mares so it'll also be a good test of how myarse bike can cope with real distance. I know 180 over 3 is a drop in the ocean for a lot of you, but if you can spare a thought, and perhaps a few quid, I promise it'll be appreciated!
