Newbie cyclists around burnley

Hi all I have just started cycling and looking for some company in the Burnley area. I have only been cycling for about 2 months and generally like to get out on canal towpaths or quiet roads 2 or 3 times a week with up to 40 mile at weekend. Any takers

Unfortunately, I became seriously ill this summer and haven't been on a bike since. Hopefully though, normal service will be resumed some time in spring/summer 2013. If you like the look of the rides that I linked to above, you'd be welcome to come along and join us on future ones!

Well did 29 mile today with an average speed of 9.94 mph so seems to be going in the right direction

I'll be pretty much starting from scratch when I finally get back on a bike. It has already been nearly 19 weeks and I probably won't start riding again until Jan or Feb at the earliest.

Keep your chin up it must be frustrating but your health has to take priority and you will get back to fitness pretty quick I'm sure
