Newbie axle question... help!

Prob a really silly question but...

I have destroyed or am in the process of destroying the rear hub on my mtb, its on its last legs.

I was thinking if just upgrading the wheel set to some with sealed bearings. I am thinking the fulcrum red metal 5.

However these are listed as having an oversized 20mm axle, what does this mean?

Will these fit a cannondale sl4 frame with qr? Am I being a tit and worrying about nothing?

Did look in the haynes book, but that isn't very clear...

Oversized will mean the main body of the spindle inside the hub. The ends that fit the dropouts will be standard size, you have no worries.
