Evening all, hope you have all had a good weekend riding

I have a little bit of money to play with and flirted with getting a new carbon crotch rocket but having spoke with guys at the club I am riding with at the moment I have decided against it. My current plan is to buy some decent wheels that could then be moved across when I eventually get a new bike. Do any of you have any recommendations for a wheelset with a budget of £500-600?

Am also flirting with carbon forks, I currently have alu forks and want to lower road buzz especially prior to my ride to Scotland at the end of May. Is this a worthwhile upgrade and again any recommendations for a budget of up to £200?

Thank you

ps. currently using Shimano so obviously needs to be compatible.

I can recommend Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels. I use them on my CAAD and they have proved very reliable so far, and a definite improvement over anything I've used before.
FWIW most, (if not all), 700c wheels will be compatible, just make sure you specify the correct one when you order.
CC'er gb155 is selling a pair of Blackstorm carbon forks on here, if the steerer is long enough they may be worth a punt. I have the same fork on my Ribble and it does what it says on the tin
