I am considering getting new wheels ready for next year to replace my spinergy xaero lite's, I have narrowed my search down to either sram s30 sprint or american classic 420 aero 3's
I am looking for more aero wheels than the spinergy's

What's the question?

My personal opinion is that you need 50mm deep rims to get a decent aero effect. Weight wise this means carbon which is costly and you get some buffeting from cross winds.

Alternatively I'd look at Mavic non-aero wheels.

i have a set of sram s80's which i fit for time trials, but they're a handful in cross winds and considerably heavier than the spinergys, which is why i'm looking for a set of shallow aero wheels with aero/bladed spoked

the two sets i'm looking at are about the same weight as the spinergys so they should climb the same but be easier on the flats and quicker down hill which is where i loose out to the other club members as i'm one of the lightest @61kg (134.5lbs)
they should also be stiffer (at the expense of comfort) the spinergys are quite a soft ride especially compared to my fulcrum 7's

i wondered if anyone has any experiance of the wheels ie reliability, stiffness, comfort

i ride mostly country lanes and back roads with the odd dual carrigeway, the rides range from 40 miles upward at an average of 19+mph
