New Wheels/cassette query

Hi, have just ordered some new wheels for my bike. Fulcrum 7s from Wiggle.

It says that they are suitable for an 8/9/10 speed cassette.

I have a 9 speed Shimano Ultegra cassette, will it require a spacer to fit on the splined thingy?

This is the last bit on my little bike project. I've been working on this the last couple of months. Can't wait to ride it!!

I think its only the narrower 10spd cassettes that need a 1 mm spacer but not 100% sure.

Only the 10 speed will need a spacer a 9 should fit straight on no problem

I got some mavic Aksiums recently and needed the spacer to put an 8 speed cassette on, I think a 9 is the widest cassette and a 10 the same as a 8.

Sure there will be someone along saying some thing different in a minute.

All I know for sure is an 8 on a Mavic needs a spacer.
