New ultra-distance cyclist saying hello

I'm a cyclist of just two years but have quickly found a home in ultra-distance riding. This year I'll be competing in the Transcontinental Race - non-stop and unsupported from Belgium to Turkey. I also run a blog on my training and racing, which is how I found CycleChat, by following some inbound links.

My training rides include things like London to Bilbao, via the Tourmalet (blog entry) and London to Edinburgh in a day and a half (blog entry), but I also write on other events which I think people might find entertaining.

I am about to begin my fund-raising drive for Cancer Research UK, so if you find the blog content entertaining please help me by 'following' and sharing it with others. As well as stroking my ego the wider exposure encourages more donors and sponsors to contribute with fund-raising to help us all in the fight against cancer.
