I just changed my tyres on my tricross from the standard specialized boroughs to some michelin Krylions, and wow what a difference. Feels like im riding a whole new bike! Bike feels a lot lighter and faster now but still really grippy, I was worried about this going from 700*32 tyres with tread on them to much thinner 700*25 completely slick tyres. I was expecting the ride to be a lot harsher with the proper road tyres but i barely notice the difference, What I can deffinatly notice is the speed!! The accelerations seems effortless and it feels like i am using the higher gears more now, still only my first ride today

Its prob a bad time of year to change to these sort of tyres with winter coming up, my old tyres were pretty bomb proof in all condition on and (minor) off road. Ahh well I guess I will just have to keep a pump and spare tube with me.

I found with the Spesh Boroughs I neede to carry a pump & spare tube at all times, had them on the Globe & had loads of deflations & on the tricross suffered on the 2nd time out, so changed to M+ Didn't get the performance improvement, but reliability is more of an issue to me ;)
