That's a good load alright, was there any issues with trailer regarding the ferry, it would be great to take the bike/trailer combo on a train but I doubt that's possible .

No problem on the small ferries and I never had problems on the big ones either. The big ones all tend to have different stowage arrangements for bikes so in some cases you may have to detach the trailer due to length. The ferry crews are generally helpful if any problems arise.
No experience of trains.
