right, officially grossed out by all this but I think its something I need to get past to become a proper cyclist.

about 2 weeks back I found a big spot (like you might get on your face from a blocked pore but bigger) on my pubis a good inch away from anything important. That was a proper spot and squeezed with no real pain like it was ready to go, I didn't notice it arriving, it almost appeared one day in the shower (I do wash everyday honest).

Yesterday I noticed a lesser spot on the bottom of my leg mid thigh which went with a bit of aggro using a mirror.

2 points is a trendline so this is now a problem, how do I maintain the area?

I ride in clean lycra or cotton boxers and light trousers/jeans (short rides only). I generally ride 5-10 miles twice for commute days (if in lycra it will be twice) or longer utility trips (like 10 miles each way to go shopping) or long/fast rides (with lycra) up to 40 miles so far but want to make it 60 then keep developing distance and speed

I too have suffered in the past from the same complaint  ,changed from cheap longs to expensive shorts (with leg warmers when cold) to stop rubbing and also use Sudocrem before ride and after shower/bath,problem solved!

What makes you think it is cycling related, as you say it could be just a blocked pores it does happen

cos its never happened before (though I do see your point), I think its the sweat/exercise causing the blocked pores

@hutster if I get any more I'll start with sudocreme but it would involve a fairly massive area :s
