Iā€™m thinking about buying a spare set of Specialized wheels for my mtb bike. Iā€™m always changing my tyres depending on ground conditions. I was thinking of having my tyres pre fitted and ready to change over via just a couple of through bolts. Simple and quick. But Iā€™m also thinking, changing complete wheels may upset the settings on the rear derailleuršŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
whatā€™s your thoughts please ?

I've not had to fiddle with the RD for the last two wheels. In fact i can't remember the last time i had to adjust it and that's over several wheels and more cassette changes.... but that may be just luck.

I have 2 sets of wheels for my cx bike with different tyres and never had an issue with the rear derailleur adjustment.

Rear disc needs adjusting when I change wheels but that takes less than a minute.
