Im looking for a good value saddle for my road bike.

I want the style which has a gap down the middle

Anyone any ideas?

I've recently changed the saddle on my CAAD to one of THESE and I'm personally very happy with it

But, as biggs alludes, nothing is as personal as a saddle

There is a saddle library on here in case you didn't know, see HERE

You can then Google any that are available and if you think they look the part you can borrow one to try

It could save you the ££££'s that lots of us have blown on saddles over the years

Saddles that promised much, maybe were highly recommended, but ultimately caused nothing but pain

Not that one David but i had a Sella italia x1 which was very comfortable. so the brand is ok.

Go to a specialized dealer that has the arseometer and get your sitbones measured. The bigger dealers should also have a few test saddles to try out for a week or so.

Best thing you can do. Its no good us on here giving you our saddle choices, your arse could be different.

I went for a Specialized Romin after getting my sit bones measured and its maybe the best thing i've bought for a bike, no more numb nuts
