New road bike saddle

My Specialized Toupe 143 that came with the bike, now has a crack in one side which makes it over flexible and probably dangerous.

Looking for a new saddle

Bike is a Tarmac Elite 2010

i know its a personal thing, I like the 143 but then i've never ridden anything else so any recommendations?

I have a Fizik Arione Wingflex and suits me better than my Charge Spoon which has been relegated to the spare bike. It is down to your own bones though and it could be worth getting a saddle fitting.

yeah might hit up the LBS, but I bet they only stock a few brands.

There's a white one for sale on here. If its gone Merlin do the manganese railed version for less than £50 delivered in various colours.

Another one for the Arione...LBS spent over an hour half with me fitting saddles and I left with that one...Few tweaks in the process

have a look at the smp selle range ........ just got 2 x lite 209's one for road bike and 1 for tandem .

Arione is great, as is the Selle Italia SLR in its various forms - my favourite is the SLR XP.

I had a Selle SLR xp. One of the rails bust on it. A very light saddle. I think overall I prefer the Arione, but I would have a SLR again.
