Amen! I think steel bikes with sprung saddles are very underrated for the rough roads and cycle tracks we have in this country. There are some good road routes once your range gets large enough to reach forests, fens, moors or levels, but we still have to get to them.mainly canal paths etc but it was a lot harder to ride on than the roads I normally go on so my bones feel shaken after all the bumping about.
Why not do the actual imperial equivalent which is 62 (point 14...) miles?Well done . speed Dosn't matter you got round . Metric century next 64 miles
I did. Started in rodley into Leeds down to woodlesford, then back to Bingley then back to RodleyWell done, that's quite an achievement! did you go up the Leeds/Liverpool canal?
