Nice going
I'm aiming for 50 soon, although I'm finding the longer rides are harder to fit in.

Cheers everyone. Im only 2 months back riding since when I was a kid but thought given enough time in the day with the right route I could make it.

In the end although the route was flattish, just 1300ft climbed as it was mainly canal paths etc but it was a lot harder to ride on than the roads I normally go on so my bones feel shaken after all the bumping about.

Amen! I think steel bikes with sprung saddles are very underrated for the rough roads and cycle tracks we have in this country. There are some good road routes once your range gets large enough to reach forests, fens, moors or levels, but we still have to get to them.
