New member in Leeds

Hello everyone!

I'm doing a PhD in tribology in Leeds. I've been here for about a year and having got a bike over the summer I'm just starting to commute to work by bike and will hopefully work my way up to doing longer rides. I've done a little track cycling as well, which I absolutely love and I do admit one of the main reasons for riding more on the road is so I can get better on the track!

I'm also keen to find some friendly people to ride with, as although I'm very enthusiastic I'm quite slow and don't know many routes around here!

Lots of good cycling in Leeds and great countryside right on the doorstep - out Otley way if you like hills, or to the east if you like it a bit flatter (although it's all relative!).
