In Denmark, vehicles turning must give way to cyclists. If they don't and they hit a cyclists, both the courts and insurance companies take them to the cleaners.

Maintain a 1.5 meter latteral distance ! some of the drivers round here would be realy challanged on that one, but none the less IMO we could use something like that in our highway code so please bring it on.

I agree it is needed and appropriate, but I'd love to know how it is enforced in Portugal or could be enforced here

+1 from me this could be a good case for having a helmet camera perhaps ? also should we start send our MP's emails or some such.
