New gear cable jammed in cx sora sti shifter

Hi,
In fitting replacement gear cable ,I moved the shifter and the cable is the sti rs well jammed and I can't get it out to refit or replace.
Any advice on a way to get it out or dislodged??.
It's a SORA shifter

well, mrsD d got the cable out last week in about 30 seconds....Iv'e now taken the bike to my LBS along with components i'd already bought
£100s of maintenance n repair kit and years of experience with repairs, replacements, total rebuilds/services, major upgrades etc and I now struggle attempting even the basics.
