Did you get a couple of stickers with them. The old Deltas come with these. You're meant to stick them to the sole of the shoe before taking the old cleats off so you can get the postition right. Personally I just mark the sole at the 3 corners of the old cleat with a biro (or a bit tippex on carbon soles) and line the new ones up with that.

What i do, is get a pen and on the sides(where they curve in) trace that down onto the shoe with the pen. You should then be able to get them pretty much back in the same place.

The fool proof way to do it is to use the memory pad - this is the little (black) plastic piece on the sole side of the cleat, underneath a little oval rubber 'plug'. (This has to be fitted with the cleat anyway). If you are to use it needs fixing to the sole of the shoe - I use a suitable short self-tapping screw. Once you have fitted this you can remove the worn cleat leaving the memory pad in place, which then allows you to put new cleats back in exactly the same position. (You can fix the memory pads of your existing cleats by removing the rubber plugs and screwing them on - as above) It is easier to do than describe - have a good look at the Keo instruction booklet - p34 especially).

- you don't actually need one - thats why I use short self-tapping screws, started off using a bradawl or similar, having made sure they are not going to go all the way through the sole - you can get an idea of the right length by seeing how deep the cleat bolt-holes are. (My shoes are Shimano with the standard 3 holes).
edit: - if you don't want to mark the sole at all, use pieces of insulation tape to mark the position of your old cleats.
