New Chain?

Hi, just replaced my wheels with Fulcrum 5's and a new larger Campag cassette (13-29). Do I need to buy a new chain with this size of cassette? If yes, should I spend the extra and go for a 'record' chain or stick with veloce. Cheers Mark

With a larger cassette (i.e. largest cog is larger) you should always check to see if the existing chain is long enough. I would use a chain length calculator.

Regarding what chain, how many speed? if 10 or 11 do you fancy fiddling with HD-Link/special tool? If not go for kmc chains and/or their quick links, available even for 11 speed.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...

I use a Veloce chain with a KMC (Campag specific) quick link.

My best bike came with KMC X10-L chain (and Campag Veloce 13-29 cassette)
Since changed to a KMC X10-SL but only because I snapped one up when a retailer had them at silly low price.

IMHO KMC Quicklinks are the easiest to use.
