New chain jumping question 2! Cassette and chainrings or both?

I see someone has already asked a similar question however I'd appreciate some feedback on these pics as to whats my options

Sadly I neglected to check my chain and when I did it was well past it, so new chain on and yes it jumps a lot in the mid range spokets, 4th/5th from largest, also theres a slight whining noise when on the large front ring (coud be my lungs of course).

So I'd appreciuate some thoughts on these pics, do I need to change the cassette, or the cassette and the chain rings?

If its the chainrings I'm going to be mightily pee'd off because I've just replaced an overly expensive FSA BB which has a spindle size only used on the FSA Omega, and I could have opted for a replacement SRAM Apex chainset with BB for £80!

Chainrings while worn look fine so no need to change. Get that cassette done though.....

Having looked in detail at mine earlier on today, see the other thread, your picture of the new chain on your mid cassette sprocket looks horribly like mine on the small sprockets. The teeth on your cassette look well worn too. It's knackered.

Your chainrings are better than the ones on the bike my thread was about, and I'm not expecting to need to change mine at this stage.

Thanks folks,

I hadn't intended to change the complete chainset, I was going to change rings if needed, however my gripe was that I have only just bought a replacement BB (FSA 4000) which was £40, two new chainrings again about £40 and for £80 I could have got a complete Sram chainset and BB, which is no doubt a better quality item.

Still now to find a veloce cassette
